Our WISE of the Week awarded by the Māori faculty is Anessah-Joyce Steadman-Hohaia, Year 7.
He tauira tino pai a Anessa-Joice mō te whakaute, te manawanui me te ngākau pono. Ka whakarongo ia, ka whai whakaaro ki ngā kōrero āwhina, ā, kāore ia e mataku ki te ako. Ka kawea e ia he wairua pai ki roto i te akomanga, me tana menemene me tana ngākau mahana. Ahakoa he tēina, ka taea te whakawhirinaki ki a ia, ā, e tino whakaatu ana ia i ngā uara WISE.
Anessa-Joice is an excellent example of respect, perseverance, and sincerity. She listens to and considers helpful advice, and is not afraid to learn. She brings a positive spirit to the classroom with her smile and warm nature. Although she is one of the younger students, she is reliable and truly embodies the WISE values.
