We are delighted to share the news of a significant milestone in the growth and development of Waiheke High School. After an extensive and rigorous search, we are thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Cameron Flude as our new principal/tumuaki.
In response to the dynamic educational landscape and with the goal of securing the best leadership for our school, the Board of Trustees moved swiftly to advertise the principal role at a time when talented individuals actively seek new opportunities.
Our commitment to a thorough and robust selection process was unwavering. We undertook a series of interviews that not only involved the Board but also included valuable input from our dedicated staff and representatives from local iwi consultation groups.
This collaborative effort ensured that diverse perspectives were considered in the decision-making process. We are proud to report that the Board, staff, and iwi were in complete alignment when it came time to select the preferred candidate.
Mr. Flude’s vision, passion for education, and commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment resonated strongly with all stakeholders. With great excitement and anticipation, we look forward to welcoming Mr. Flude as the newest member of the Waiheke High School whanau.
His experience and innovative approach to education align seamlessly with our school’s values and aspirations. We are confident that, under his leadership, Waiheke High School will continue to flourish and thrive.
